"This cottage (Japonica) is just great. Perfect location for the river, pubs and exploring the area. Everything was so clean, I am a bit of a clean freak and take disinfectant wipes where ever I go.... they were not needed, John and Tanya keep these cottages in mint condition. Clean white linen and towels. Comfy bed and pillows. Dog friendly. A pleasant seating area to the front of the cottage where we sat and enjoyed a glass of wine chatting to our holiday neighbours. The kitchen is well equipped, and there is plenty of space both in the living area and bedroom.
Both my husband and I were impressed and will definitely book again."

Paddocks Cottage guests are very welcome to bring one well-behaved dog per cottage.
We are unable to accept more than one dog who must be recall trained.
Take the B4164 exit marked Symonds Yat West off the A40.
At the roundabout if coming from Ross on Wye direction take 1st exit
If coming from Monmouth direction take 2nd exit.
Follow the road for approx. 1 km - you will pass the Old Court Hotel on the right, and later The Wye Knot Inn on the right.
You will see The Paddocks Hotel Archway on the left.
Drive under the arch and down the driveway over the speed hump and on the left (just past the Calor Gas tank) go left down the lane with the new buildings on your left, at the end you will find car parking for the cottages.
