“Best ever cottage”
Spacious and clean cottage with everything you need including good wifi connection. Own space with table and chairs on grassed area at front. John and Tanya were very helpful and pleasant owners. There are two pubs with food within easy walking distance.
zalea cottage sleeps two people together in one bedroom with a king-sized bed. The lounge has glazed patio doors leading to the garden.. The lounge offers a comfortable space to relax on leather sofas and relax around the coffee table. There is free Wi-Fi, Freeview TV and the equipped kitchen has a full-sized cooker, fridge-freezer, dishwasher, microwave oven, iron and ironing board. Freshly laundered linen and large fluffy towels and a hairdryer are also provided. The bathroom has a walk-in shower.
The communal garden is surrounded by trees on one side and open to the valley on the other. The garden is lawned and well planted with shrubs and potted plants, There is ample outside furniture and a shared BBQ.
"Excellent accommodation"
The setting of Paddocks Cottages is beautiful, peaceful and quiet with abundant wildlife. The outdoor seating was great for relaxing with a drink and admiring the stunning scenery. Nothing was too much trouble for the owners, from booking to checking out, they made our stay special and stress free. Whether you travel with or without dogs, I would really recommend this accommodation. We hope to return soon.

"Spotlessly clean with good facilities"
We had a very enjoyable three night break. We've stayed in some cute old cottages in the area previously and weren't sure what to expect of the Paddocks Cottages, but we were pleasantly surprised. Japonica has spacious rooms and a very well equipped kitchen. The whole place was impeccably clean, which is especially important at the moment (June 2020). It's well located for the pub and walks along the river and up into the Dowards. Overall it was very good value for money.

“Magnolia -A great cottage to stay in"
"We stayed in Magnolia Cottage for 5 days. John and Tania were there on site should we have needed them. Very clean cottage in excellent condition - good quality linen, plenty of towels, everything you needed in the kitchen and furniture in the lounge. Excellent bed and very comfy. The table and chairs outside on the lawn a brilliant place to sit and relax and have a glass of wine".
“Weekend break away”
"The cottages are in a secluded setting, yet close to all amenities, the cottage was very clean and well equipped and we enjoyed our weekend away very much. Only sad that we had not stayed longer but will be booking again for later in the year."
